The EAS or Electronic Air Suspension systems fitted to Discovery 3 & 4, P38 Range Rovers and the rear of the Discovery 2 can be expensive to repair and not especially reliable when heavily laden.
Eliminating the potentially costly electronic components, air springs and compressor replacement, coil spring conversions offer a reliable and economical repair or upgrade. When fitted with the relevant coil springs, significantly increased load carrying can be achieved.
This is the well-established air to coil conversion kit for the Discovery 3 developed by Dunlop with the support of Terrafirma. It reduces the likelihood of expensive air suspension repairs and eliminates the potential for suspension failure in remote operating conditions. The kits are designed to give the same ride height as standard with good load carrying characteristics.
Comprising 4 pre-assembled strut assemblies and a sophisticated EAS override module that retains all the original functions such as terrain response, headlight levelling and information screen functions.
