The Freelander 2 Dash Cover is made from a rugged, waterproof 400g rip-stop canvas designed to withstand the harsh African sun. The Dash Covers are secured to the dash via heavy-duty stick-on Velcro as well as additional attachment points to ensure that the Dash Cover will not move in any driving situation. If you wish to remove the Cover for cleaning or storage, it can simply be taken off its Velcro strips without damaging the mounting system on the car.
As well as providing heaps of extra packing space in your vehicle, it also protects your dashboard from sun damage over time. The smaller bags can also be removed from the Dash Cover so you can grab a bag full of documents, passports, recovery gear, etc. quickly from the car and return it to its spot via the Velcro later. A must-have for all Land Rovers!
